He is the director and founder of Bow Valley Canyon Tours, and over the years Marc has been a pioneering force behind the sport in the Bow Valley. Marc is certified as an ACA Professional Canyon Guide. he is also an ACMG top rope instructor, Professional IGA hiking guide, canoe instructor, & survival instructor.
Originally from Saskatchewan, Rodrigo followed his passion and calling to the mountains of the Bow Valley, which he now calls home. Rodrigo has a wealth of climbing and outdoor experience, as well as a business experience owning and running several companies from staging & lighting to pyrotechnics. Rodrigo is currently an aspirant ACA Professional Canyon Guide.

We only use the best equipment and canyon specific gear. The gear we provide on all of our canyon trips includes:
High quality harness
Canyon specific rappel device
Waterproof bag for any valuables
7mm wet suite (Farmer John bottom, thickest wetsuit available to ensure everyone stays warm and cozy)
3-4mm wetsuit top
Helmet (UIAA - CE certified)
Prior to every trip we send out a PDF that outlines all the specific information you need, including specific details of what the day will look like. In general we recommend you bring the following:
Bathing suit and towel
Rain jacket or hardshell (optional If available)
Study running shoes or light hikers that can get wet but keep your feet dry
Waterproof camera or GoPro-type camera
Fleece or warm layer
(optional but good for people who get cold easy)
Day backpack to carry up gear
Extra cloths to change into after the trip
(Will remain in the vehicle)
We provide snacks, energy bars & water on all our tours.
We will always gladly pick you up and drop you off again from your hotel or campground in either Banff or Canmore. Pick up time & locations can be made online thru our booking platform, or over the phone. For groups of 4 or more pick up can even be arranged from Calgary. You can also meet us at our staging area directly if you would prefer to drive yourself.
We ensure the best experience available, We use a handful of handpicked canyon locations in and around the Bow Valley (Banff/Canmore/Lake Louise) and surrounding area.
Our signature location though, is the stunning and remote Ghost Wilderness area just north of Banff national Park. This visually stunning area requires 4x4 vehicle access (we provide the shuttle). Alone getting out to the Ghost is a once in lifetime experience.
